New Turkish Ambassador appointed to Azerbaijan

Turkey President Ahmed Necdet Sezer issued a decree on appointing new ambassador to Azerbaijan.

Huseyn Avni Karslioglu was appointed new extraordinary and plenipotentiary ambassador to Azerbaijan.

He was born 1956 and graduated from Ankara University. Karslioglu worked at Foreign Ministry and UN office in Turkey. He also was Turkey's Consul General in Batumi and Abdullah Gul's office chief. The ambassador was a chief of Turkey FM Office for Caucasus and Central Asia and worked in the composition of the diplomatic mission to Iran. He knows the region well, Turkey Foreign Ministry told APA Turkey bureau.
