President Aliyev meets ambassadors of Muslim countries to Azerbaijan

The President met with ambassadors on the occasion of coming Ramadan holiday and said that the holiday is officially celebrated in the country since Azerbaijan got independence.

He also said that Azerbaijani people kept this holiday in their hearts before. Azerbaijan pays a special attention to the relations with Islamic countries and he stressed that there is a special interest to the promotion of the relations in the frame of Islamic Conference Organisation.

"We have mutual relations. We need the support of Islamic countries to solve Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict. I thank Islamic countries for their support," the President said.

Aliyev also said that he is sure of further development of relations between Azerbaijan and Islamic countries, the President Office's press service told the APA.
