US Ambassador wraps up southern region tour

US ambassador shared her views on the one-year transparent school management project funded by the US embassy.

The project seeks to create transparent decision-making model in the school, prepare textbooks and programs on anti-corruption, and involve parent-student associations into the budget process.

Principal of the school Yegane Babayeva, project coordinator Gultekin Allahverdiyeva, teaching staff of Lankaran State University and others gave their proposals on the matter.

Later teh same day, American diplomat attended the inauguration of the drinking water pipeline and motor road in Masally region. The projects were funded by the United States Agency of International Development.

The ceremony was addressed by deputy head of Masally region Alashraf Mehdiyev and US ambassador.

American diplomat attended the opening ceremony of the new cooling warehouse of the Elvin-2 small enterprise for storing vegetables in Goytepe settlement of Jalilabad region. The project was implemented within the framework of the Azerbaijan Business and Development Program.

Aziz Azizov, head of Calilabad Executive Power, Ramin Talybly, executive of the Cabinet of Ministers, Agaly Huseynov, director of Elvin-2 enterprise told of the measures taken in Calilabad province to implement the State Program on the socio-economic development of regions.
