Ramiz Mehdiyev: "Baku Mayor's Office decision on rally venues right"

"The opposition wants to organize rally in the center of the city in Azadliq square. But there is a law about it and it does not allow organizing rally in the center of the city," Ramiz Mehdiyev, the head of President Administration told journalists.

He said that there are 7 rally venues in Baku. "There is traffic jam in Baku. If we allow to rally in a small square in the centre of the city, the city will be paralyzed. So Baku Mayor's Office has made the right decision and gave recommendations to the opposition," Ramiz Mehdiyev said.

He thinks that the opposition can only appeal to Baku Mayor's Office concerning rally and hold an agreed rally, APA reports.
