Saida Gojamanli: "Names of former ministers not included in list presented to Council of Europe"

Saida Gojamanli, right activist told the APA that there were some errors concerning the list. "One of the errors is not including Mirza Sakit's name in the list. As Mirza Sakit is the last in the list, his name is not included in the list presented to the press because of technical reasons. The registration of former ministers as political prisoners in the list is another error. Our Monitoring Group does not consider former ministers political prisoners. Probably there are political motives in the activity of some them. But as there is no court decision, we have not included their names in this list. Their names are noted as appendix to the list. They are noted to be arrested in 2005-2006. It does not mean that they are political prisoners. The court will possibly release them while reviewing their cases. Our Monitoring Group does not call any person a prisoner for personal interests," Saida Gojamanli said.
