Iranian Foreign Ministry responds to Google's mistake on Tabriz city

Foreign Ministry spokesman Mohammad-Ali Hosseini made the remark on Sunday, while speaking to domestic and foreign reporters at this week's press conference in Tehran.

The speaker said that Google's mistake in introducing Tabriz as part of Republic of Azerbaijan was a mischievous act for sowing the seed of discord among ethnic groups.

He dismissed the move, adding that Iran has called for its correction and that if they fail to respond to the call the issue will be pursued through legal channels. IRNA
