Baku Police Chief: "Unsanctioned pickets to be prevented"

"The pickets can be held only in the places determined by Baku Mayor's Office," Yashar Aliyev, deputy chief of Baku Main Police Board, told the APA.

He said that a group of 30-40 men tried to hold a picket from "Baki Soveti" metro station towards the President's Office. He said that the picket was prevented and two of the participants were arrested. "They were the members of APFP and both of them were drunk. We didn't use riot police in the prevention of the picket. The policemen were in new black uniforms," he said.
