YAP holds conference

On Wednesday the ruling New Azerbaijani Party (YAP) held a conference on occasion of the fourteenth anniversary of its establishment.

Deputy of the party, Ali Ahmedov noted that the strength of the party is based on President Ilham Aliyev's policy and people's will. "YAP is the most powerful party in Azerbaijan. The number of its members is almost 400 thousand. This is the indicator of the faith in Heydar Aliyev's ideology."

Former speaker, Murtuz Aleskerov said that YAP was formed in a bad condition. "I believe that YAP will develop under the leadership of Ilham Aliyev," he added, APA reports.
