Lawyer said he will lodge an appeal with Appeals Court on Nov.27.
Akif Muradverdiyev was sentenced to six years in jail with charges under Articles 179.3.2 (embezzlement), 308.2 (abuse of power), 311 (briber taking), 313 (falsification).
Besides, Investigation on the case of him under Articles 28.278 (attempting to come to power by force) and 28.220 (preparing for mass disorder) is underway.
