President Aliyev leaves for Minsk

Azerbaijani President left for Minsk to participate in CIS summit.

Over 20 topics will be discussed, the documents will be signed and some of them will be adopted without discussion. Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Armenian president Robert Kocharian are expected to hold negotiations on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict within the summit, APA reports.

Russian Foreign Ministry Nagorno Karabakh group told the APA that OSCE MG co-chair Yuri Merzlyakov is already in Minsk to organize the Presidents' meting.

According to Belarussian sources the first president to come to Minsk was the president of Kyrgyzstan Kurmanbek Bakiyev, his visit to Byelorussia is official.

Besides Ilham Aliyev, President of Tajikistan Emomoli Rahmonov has also come to Minsk.

Georgian President Mikhail Saakashvili, President of Uzbekistan Islam Kerimov, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko, President of Kazakhstan Nursultan Nazarbayev, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and Turkmenistan Deputy Premier Gurbanguli Berdimahammadov are expected to arrive in Minsk on Wednesday.
