Elchibey's family appeals to government

Ex-president Abulfaz Elchibey's family appealed to the Cabinet of Ministers and governmental bodies for reconstruction of Elchibey’s grave.

MP Arzu Samadbayli told the APA the monument was not allowed to put on the grave. The parliamentarian said that he treats it as preconceived attitude to the former president and this discrimination should be lifted.

"Elchibey's family began to erect his monument and spend money at their own expenditures. The appeal says that they want to hold opening ceremony on December 31. But no answer was received up today," he said.
