MP to visit Amman

MP Bakhtiyar Aliyev, will head to the Jordanian capital, Amman, to participate in the high-level meeting of the countries which ratified the United Nations Convention against Corruption.

The event will review the Convention's first year in force and discuss ways of stepping up international efforts to fight corruption.

Other issues will include embezzlement, laundering of the proceeds of crime, obstruction of justice and mutual legal assistance between countries in gathering evidence for use in trials and extradition proceedings. AzerTAg
