Visit of Saudi Arabic Minister of Culture and Information to Azerbaijan starts

Minister of Culture and Tourism Ebulfez Garayev met with the delegation headed by Iyad Medeni, APA reports.

Ebulfez Garayev said that both countries should develop relations.

"Common values connect our countries. Presidents' warm attitude makes these relations more effective”, he said. Saudi Arabic Minister of Culture and Information Iyad Medeni spoke about the significance of the meeting."

"I am sure that this meeting will contribute to improve bilateral relations in both culture and information. The economical and political relations are on high levels. We should improve cultural relations as well. This land is a cradle of culture. We‘ll achieve consolidation of relations by sharing experiences in information and culture. Azerbaijan and Saudi Arabic have the same religion and history. Cultural relations are very important. So, we intent to consolidate the cultural relations," he said.

The delegation will meet with Azerbaijan Telegraph Agency and the leadership of Azerbaijan State Television and Radio Programs Closed Joint-Stock Company.
