Vasili Istratov: "Points of negative attitude of Law on Migration to Azerbaijanis are false"

He said he does not believe that the referendum will have a positive influence on the settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict.

The Ambassador said that the application of the new law on the status of labor migrants will not cause problems for Azerbaijanis living there.

"This law was adopted to set rules in the trade centers. Russia planned to take this step 10 years ago but because of some reasons it could not be adopted. The views that the Law on Migration is against Azerbaijanis is false. If the Azerbaijanis obey the law, they will have no problems in Russia," he said.
