Mammadyarov meets U.S. Assistant Secretary of State

Barry Lowenkron noted importance of the expansion of the existent cooperation between the United States and Azerbaijan in the political, safety, economic and education fields. The United States supports political line of Azerbaijan and adheres intensive exchange of mutual experience in coming years, he said.

Elmar Mammadyarov reminded the visits of Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev and the First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva to the United States, noting these visits meet the national interests of both countries. The Minister spoke of the latest accomplishments Azerbaijan reached in numerous fields, the achievements in the democratization of society, development of human rights protection in the country.
