President Aliyev's visit to Ordubad ends

Azerbaijani president Ilham Aliyev continues his visit to Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic.

Ilham Aliyev arrived in Ordubad in the morning, APA reports.

After laying a wreath before Heydar Aliyev's bust, Ilham Aliyev reviewed the museum of academician Yusif Mammadaliyev established on Heydar Aliyev’s decree in 1975.

Later the president participated in the opening ceremony of reconstructed Ordubad boarding-school. The president was informed that 293 pupils study in the school for 414 pupils.

Delivering speech before the public Ilham Aliyev spoke about the economic development and stability in Azerbaijani. He said that salaries and pensions are raising, large-scaled economic reforms are carried out and new jobs are created.

"This process is also realized in Nakhchivan. I visit Nakhchivan every year and observe improvement here. Gas supply in Ordubad has already been restored. It is planed to construct power station in Ordubad," the president said.

The president's visit to Ordubad finished. Later the president participated in the opening ceremony of salt sanatorium. Conference concerning the socio-economic problems of Nakhchivan AR with president's participation will be held in the second half of the day.
