Azeri envoy to Morocco presents his credentials

Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Morocco, Sabir Agabayov, presented his credentials to King Mohammed VI, press service of Azerbaijan Ministry of Foreign Affairs said.

The Ambassador conveyed to the King greetings and best wishes from Azerbaijan President, Ilham Aliyev.

Sabir Agabayov said he believes Morocco will soon open its Embassy in Baku.

Azerbaijan's Ambassador also met with Mohamed Benaissa, Morocco's Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation.

The Moroccan Minister said his country plans to open its embassy in Azerbaijan's capital next year.

Ambassador Agabayov and Minister Benaissa agreed that the visit by Azerbaijan Foreign Minister, Elmar Mammadyarov, to Morocco will take place in February of 2007. AzerTAg
