154 laws, 21 decision adopted in Milli Majlis this year

34 meetings of Milli Majlis were held in 2006, Parliament's Speaker Ogtay Asadov announced this statistics in the last sitting of autumn session of Parliament.

According to the statistics 154 laws, 21 decisions were adopted during this period. Speaking about the work of Milli Majlis, the speaker noted that some laws were adopted in the first or second reading, some declarations, agreements and the decisions to join international conventions were approved.

"This year parliament completely fulfilled its legislative function reflected in the constitution," he said, APA reports.
