06 January 2007 [00:18] - TODAY.AZ
Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said that his country will soon celebrate final victory in the nuclear issue, stressing that the Iranian nation will not withdraw even an inch from its righteous stances.

Addressing large and fervent congregation of the public in the southwestern town of Bagh Malek during his tour of the oil-rich Khuzestan province on Friday, the president said that the Iranian nation's faith, resistance and love for religion have made enemies and corrupt powers face frequent failures and defeats, and further assured the public that the country would soon reach the peaks of nuclear progress.

"Our nation will soon mark final victory and celebrate its total progress in the nuclear issue," he reiterated, adding, "Enemies should know that the Iranian people are united in this issue and will not give up even an iota of their nuclear rights."

Elsewhere, in another town in Khuzestan province the president invited the public to a nationwide nuclear celebration, which he said would be held in the near future.

He told the crowd in the city of Ramhormorz that they should get prepared to celebrate victory and honor.

Pointing to the loud slogans chanted by the public in support of Ahmadinejad's nuclear policies, the president stressed.

"The Iranian nation views access and use of the nuclear energy as its inalienable right."

"And we will, God willing, celebrate our great nuclear progress in the near future," he underscored.

Khuzestan is the 24th province hosting Ahmadinejad and his entourage, where the president will preside over a cabinet session in the provincial capital city of Ahwaz to discuss the province's problems and needs.

President Ahmadinejad and his ministers have already had a tour of the provinces of South Khorassan, Sistan and Baluchestan, Ilam, Qom, Hormuzgan, Bushehr, Chahar Mahal and Bakhtiari, Lorestan, Golestan, Kohgilouyeh and Boyer Ahmad, Khorassan Razavi, Zanjan, Markazi, Qazvin, Hamedan, East Azerbaijan, Tehran, North Khorassan, Kurdistan, West Azerbaijan, Ardabil, Mazandaran and Kermanshah.
