6 Azerbaijani soldiers sent to Afghanistan, 7 to Kosovo

6 Azerbaijani soldiers have today been sent to Afghanistan, 7 to Kosovo concerning the rotation of peacekeepers in Afghanistan and Kosovo.

Defense Ministry Press Service officer Maj. Ilgar Verdiyev told the APA 90 soldiers were sent to Iraq concerning rotation last week. The soldiers finishing their mission in Afghanistan, Kosovo and Iraq will soon return to Azerbaijan.

33 Azerbaijani soldiers are serving in Kosovo, 33 in Afghanistan and 150 in Iraq at the moment.
