"That is why the cooperation with the government serves to ADP's interests. Important measures will be taken in this sphere," the deputy chief of ADP Yagub Abbasov told the APA.
He said that one of the three main priorities of the party planned for 2007 is to cooperate with the government.
"It is necessary to begin from the starting point keeping aside all the happened controversies in past. There are also forces in the government that want it. If the government and opposition steps together, good results can be achieved," he said.
Abbasov stated that opposition and government should sit around table without the interference of international organizations.
But he stated that there are some forces inside the parties that prevent the negotiations.
Abbasov noted that, the next meeting of the supreme assembly will be held in late January and priorities of 2007 will be discussed.
"The meeting is expected to be tense," he added.
