Anne Derse: "Saddam Huseyn could have been executed in more normal condition"

"Saddam Huseyn could have been executed in more normal condition. Iraq is to be responsible for the happenings there," US ambassador to Azerbaijan Anne Derse told reporters.

She expressed her disappointment over the process of execution, APA reports.

"But he was executed according to the law of Iraq. I hope that the persons responsible for negative cases during the execution will be punished soon," she said.

Anne Derse refused to answer the question on increase of Azerbaijani peacekeeping forces in Iraq.

"We hail every Azerbaijani citizen who carries out important mission in Iraq," she noted.
