Nikolai Zlobin: "Settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict needs new base"

"The negotiations on settlement of Nagorno Karabakh conflict shouldn't be carried out in previous methods. It needs a new base for the settlement of the conflict," said Nikolai Zlobin, Director of Russian and Asian Programs of US World Security Institution.

He suggested two variants of the settlement. "The first variant is to liberate the territories and stick your flag ignoring will of the people. The second one is the comparison of potentials. Thus, Azerbaijan and Armenia present all possible opportunities to the people living there and they choose the best one," he said.

Nikolai Zlobin told APA that he supported Azerbaijani people who lived in Nagorno Karabakh to return their motherlands.
