Azerbaijani and Georgian Justice Ministers sign Cooperation program

Gia Kavtaradze met with Justice Minister, Judicial Council chairman Fikrat Mammadov. Fikrat Mammadov stressed the importance of Ilham Aliyev's recent visit to Georgia and signing framework agreement on Baku-Tbilisi-Akhalkalaki-Kars.

He gave information about ongoing democratic changes, modernization of court system, development of justice bodies and underlined the necessity of cooperation between justice bodies.

Kavtaradze said they attach special importance to cooperation with Azerbaijan in all spheres as well as in juridical sphere and highly appreciated democratic reforms, achievements in justice bodies and courts.

Justice Ministers of the two countries signed Cooperation Program.
The program envisages implementation of commitments on international contracts, training of justice officers, exchange of practice in penitentiary and other spheres, APA reports.
