Azerbaijan, Pakistan to cooperate in defence industry

Councellor of the Azerbaijan Embassy in Pakistan Sabir Rzayev told an Azeri magazine that agreement was reached at a meeting between visiting Azeri Minister of Defence Industry Yaver Jamalov and Pakistan Secretary Ministry of Defence Industry Siddiq Tirmizi on Wednesday in Islamabad.

The meeting highlighted huge potential for cooperation of the two countries in this sphere.

Rzayev said the Azeri defence industry minister plans to pay an official visit to Pakistan for broader consultations and get familiarised with activities of Pakistani enterprises of the defence industry.
