President Aliyev receives Georgian Justice Minister

On February 8, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received Minister of Justice of Georgia Giya Kavtaradze.

President Aliyev described Azerbaijan-Georgia relations as successfully developing in all areas, and stressed the importance of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars railroad project signed during his recent visit to Georgia.

He pointed out the importance of cooperation between corresponding structures of the two countries for development of bilateral relations.

President noted that cooperation between the Justice Ministries of Azerbaijan and Georgia also contributes to strengthening ties between the two countries in general.

Georgian Justice Minister emphasized that President Ilham Aliyev's visit to his country and signing the railroad project was an extremely important event.

Giya Kavtaradze said Azerbaijan-Georgia cooperation in the area of Justice is as successful as in other fields noting that the goal of his visit to Azerbaijan is to strengthen ties with the country's justice system even further. AzerTAg
