28th anniversary of Iran Islamic Revolution was marked in Baku.

Iranian Ambassador to Azerbaijan Afshar Suleymani noted that Iran is an important country in the region. He said Iran wants to live in peace with all countries of the world. Noting that 28 elections have been held in Iran so far and democratic institutions are functioning in the country the ambassador said they do not interfere with the other countries' affairs.

"Iran does not interfere with other countries' affairs and does not want other countries to interfere with its internal affairs. Iran joined a number of international contracts. Pressure exerted on Iran is groundless. 118 countries of the world support Iran's activity concerning the development of nuclear technology," he said.
