Mayor's Office considers Musavat's appeal

Baku Mayor's Office is considering the appeal by the opposition Musavat Party's central executive board chief Arif Hajili for venue to hold mass protests in the districts of Baku.

Chief of the department for social organizations and political parties Zaur Ramazanov told the APA that Baku Mayor's Office has allotted four venues to hold protests in four districts of Baku according to the law on freedom of peaceful assembly and article 49 of the Constitution.

"We are considering the appeal. The party will be officially replied when the decision is made," he said.

Arif Hajili had appealed to the Baku Mayor's Office to allot place for mass protests in Sabail, Yasamal, Nasimi, Nizami, Narimanov, Garadakh, Sabunchu and Azizbeyov districts of Baku last week.
