Georgian parliament confirms nominee of new ambassador to Azerbaijan

Georgian parliament has confirmed the nomination of Nikoloz Natbiladze as Ambassador to Azerbaijan.

All of the 149 parliamentarians attending the meeting voted for Natbiladze's candidacy.

Prior to this appointment, Nikoloz Natbiladze was deputy foreign minister.

President Mikhail Saakashvili signed executive order on Nikoloz Natbiladze's appointment as ambassador to Azerbaijan in mid January.

Natbiladze was born in Tbilisi in 1971 and had been Deputy Foreign Minister since summer 2005, APA's Georgia bureau reports.
