Azerbaijan's Consulate General to Istanbul declares February 19-26 Khojali week in Turkey

Plan of measures has been confirmed concerning it, consul general Seyyad Aran told the APA.

The Khojali genocide will be marked in different cities of Turkey beginning from February 19. Protest actions demanding recognition of the Khojali genocide and condemning Armenians' savagery will be organized in Izmit on February 21, Manisa on February 22, Izmir on February 23 and in Taksim square of Istanbul on February 25.

Representatives of Azerbaijani Diaspora, famous Turkish public figures, MPs will also participate in these actions. Following this, an assembly will be organized in the National Education Center in Istanbul.

Turkish press will publish articles on the tragedy within the "Khojali week."

Seyyad Aran will participate in a live program on Khojali genocide on Izmir's Sky television.
