He told the APA that he is informed about the reports on captured Azerbaijani servicemen, but this problem has nothing to do with his report.
Leo Platvoet noted that the report is ready, but though he hopes his report will be debated at the PACE spring session, he is not sure of it.
"The forthcoming session will be mostly devoted to the situation on human rights in Europe. So, I am not sure whether my report will be discussed at the session," he said.
The rapporteur said the report is not on the agenda of the PACE Standing Committee.
Commenting on the content of the report, Leo Platvoet said the conflicts in the South Caucasus were analyzed in terms of violation of human rights not from political aspect.
The report pays much attention to increasing the role of the International Committee of the Red Cross in the South Caucasus, mainly in Nagorno Karabakh, South Ossetia and Abkhazia.
