ANAS department chief and representative accused of high treason

The editor-in-chief got 15-day imprisonment on February 3 because of resisting police. But now he is accused of high treason, a lawyer for the editor-inc-chief Ramiz Mammadov told the APA.

The other representative of Linguistics institute Elman Guliyev is detained on the same article.

The chief of Azerbaijan's National Security Ministry Public affairs department Arif Babayev told the APA both accused have been detained. The public will be informed about the case later, as the investigation is under way.
