Chechen refugees picket outside UNHCR office in Baku

30-35 Chechen refugees settled in Baku held a picket outside UN High Commissioner for Refugees Office in Baku.

William Tall, head of the Office received 20 of the participants. Some of the participants demanded the office to extradite them, some others to grant the status of refugees by Azerbaijani government and enjoy their privileges and increase foods aids in connection with price rises in Azerbaijan.

The office said that Mr.Tall often meets with Chechen refugees and this is one of these meetings, APA reports.
