Natig Efendiyev's appeal to be considered, April 17

Legal proceeding on the appeal against the court decision on former police chief of Ganja Natig Efendiyev has been fixed.

Vugar Khasayev, lawyer for Natig Efendiyev, told the APA that the appeal will be considered on April 17.

Efendiyev, facing charges on Article 228.2 (illegal carrying arms) of the Criminal Code was sentenced to five years in prison. Court of Appeal dismissed the appeal and upheld the decision.
