Witnesses give testimony in Ali Insanov's trial

The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov, APA reports.

Ali Insanov petitioned for inviting President's Office Socio-Political Department chief Ali Hasanov and executive secretary of New Azerbaijan Party Ali Ahmadov for interrogation. The court dismissed the petition

Then the ex-minister protested against court's composition. The solicitation was not considered.

Then witness, Saleh Mukhtarov gave testimony. Saying that he had appealed to health ministry for license, Mukhtarov noted he faced Akif Maharramov's bureaucracy there.

The witness noted that all that have been done to get bribe. Mukhtarov said he did not give any bribe.

Later on, an officer of economic department of Heath Ministry Shohlet Ismayilov gave testimony in the trial. Giving information about spent money allocated by Global Alliance international organization, Ismayilov said the money was spent due to the order.

Public prosecutor Kamran Aliyev petitioned for announcing the preliminary testimonies of the witnesses who did not attend the court proceeding. The solicitation was allowed by the court, and the testimonies announced.

Head physician of Saatli Central Hospital Gulaga Azizov's testimony says that he was dismissed illegally in 1994. Though Binagadi court passed decision on reinstatement, the ministry did not execute the decision.

Chief of Farm Lider firm Punhan Imameliyev said he gave $1500 to open first drug-store and computer for the second one to Akif Maharramov.

Witness Naile Salmanova said in her testimony that she gave $1500 to the accused, Haji Aliyev to open chemists.
