Grave Crimes Investigation Department's investigator gives testimony in Ali Insanov's trial

Trial on case of former Health Minister Ali Insanov and ten more defendants accused of embezzlement, abuse of power and bribery continued in the second part of the day at Azerbaijan's Court of Grave Crimes.

The sitting is presided over by Judge Faig Gasimov, APA reports.

Ali Insanov's lawyer Aghaveys Shahverdi solicited to the court and asked to call State Students' Admission Commission chief Maleyka Abbaszade, President's Office Humanitarian Department chief Fatma Abdullazade, State Committee for Management of State Property chief Karam Hasanov, Grave Crimes Investigation Department of Prosecutor's Office chief Eldar Ahmadov, the case investigator Vugar Aliyev to give testimony in the court.
The court allowed solicitation on testimony of only Vugar Aliyev.

Aliyev gave testimony to the court and denied that witness Esmira Mukhtarova was imposed pressure during the preliminary investigation.

The trial will continue on April 2.
