EU to give proposals on media to Azerbaijan

Our recent observations show that the state of media in Azerbaijan has deteriorated, said Special Representative of the European Union for the South Caucasus Peter Semneby.

He said that media's development is one of the important parts of mutual commitments.

"We do not want to criticize, but want to help Azerbaijan. We intend to put forward some proposals. These proposals may consist of training for officials, supporting amending the legislation and other issues," he told the APA.
