15 people detained during piquet of Youth Organization of Azerbaijan Popular Front Party

Nearly 20 activists of the Youth Organization of the Azerbaijan Popular Front Party held a picket at Nizami street in the city center in support of freedom of speech in Azerbaijan.
According to the Institute for Reporters' Freedom and Safety, officials of the law enforcement bodies broke up the action and detained nearly 15 activists of the Youth Organizations.

Several activists were reported to be beaten.

They were accused of the unsanctioned initiation of the action. The case is currently under investigation.
