President of Azerbaijan might be invited to parliament for Karabakh problem discussion

He said Azerbaijan needed ceasefire for restoration of its armed forces and reveal of allies among other countries.

"I consider it necessary to hold discussions on Nagorno Karabakh with participation of President of Azerbaijan in the parliament. Such discussions were held in Heydar Aliyev's times and there is nothing extraordinary with it", he said.

He noted that Serj Sarkissyan's pre-election statements showed that he is not going to give the occupied lands back to Azerbaijan peacefully.

"He permanently accused Levon Ter-Petrosyan of the intention to return Karabakh to Azerbaijan. In this case, we can not expect any constructive approach from Sarkissyan during the talks. We can not deceive either ourselves or the Azerbaijani people", Hasanguliyev said.
