There are powers in Azerbaijan and Armenia which are ready to come to understanding, said US co-chairman of the OSCE Minsk Group on Karabakh conflict resolution, Matthew Bryza.

"My task is to promote these processes", said M.Bryza to journalists in Yerevan.
The representative of the US Department of State also noted that he does not consider that Azerbaijan tries to dismiss the OSCE Minsk Group.
"I don't know whether there is such an intention in Baku but I know what senior officials told me. I do not consider that they try to dismiss the Minsk Group. They just asked a question whether there are any procedures if someone wants to do it", Bryza noted.
It does not matter to me whether there is a Minsk Group or no. I know that my country will continue to play an important role in the resolution of the Karabakh problem", the US co-chairman added.
He considers that the Minsk Group's activity has been effective. "We have attained great achievements. The framework contract, which is on the negotiation table, has not been completed. We have done much through the last three years and it is necessary to continue and complete this work in the framework of the Minsk Group", Bryza noted.
He said that he feels Azerbaijan's intention and readiness to continue talks.
"Of course, both Azerbaijan and Armenia have a right to strive for changes in the said document. And I as a mediator must cooperate with both parties to come to understanding", Bryza noted.
