The Muasir Musavat party, functioning in Azerbaijan, is preparing actively for a rally.

Party chairman Hafiz Gajiyev told Day.Az that by preliminary estimates, the action will be held on April 26.
According to the party chairman, the said action is connected with the Karabakh problem, as well as a socioeconomic state of the population.
"The rally committee has already been established. We plan to involve about 10,000 people to the said action. For its organization the party also appealed to the Baku city administration, which however refused to allocate a site for the action.
We were informed that Milli Medjlis will consider a draft law "On Freedom of Assembly" to define special places for the protest actions. At the same time, even if the draft law is not considered before April 26. the party will hold the action, anyway", he noted.
