NATO officers check the military readiness of Azerbaijani servicemen

The first category trainings on the assessment of the division of the Azerbaijani armed forces, declared by the NATO allied armed forces in the framework of the Operational Capabilities Concept, said the press service for the Defense Ministry of Azerbaijan.

As is reported the trainings were held on May 18-26.

The members of the assessment group were six officers of the NATO command-two officers from Belgium and four from Sweden, Austria, Finland and Germany.

In line with the script, a division of the armed forces of Azerbaijan with NATO members fulfilled 15 tasks, including search, accompaniment of humanitarian cargo, relations with local population, rules of behavior during the disorders, relations with mass media, protection of objects, revealing explosive substances, methods of behavior in revealing explosive substances, evacuation by helicopter, military and civil cooperation, search of suspected, organization and conduction of attack, level of English language.

The press service for the Defense Ministry noted that Azerbaijani servicemen successfully fulfilled the tasks, presented to them and the assessment group of the command was satisfied with the results of the trainings.

The command will soon send a report on the arrangements to the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.
