The third session of the Karabakh Liberation Organization is to be held on May 31, head of the organization Akif Naghi told Day.Az.

He said initially the organization planned to hold its session in the territory of liberated Karabakh.
"As this territory is still under occupation, we plan to hold the session either in Barda, or in Terter or Aghdam regions of Azerbaijan. We have already sent letters to the executive powers of the said regions.
Depending on circumstances and their permission we will define the site for the session. We also have other alternative places".
Naghi also added that several organizational issues will be considered during the session.
"A new chairman of the organization will be elected. Only my candidacy has been nominated for the position so far. But other activists can also express intention to occupy this position.
The Supreme Medjlis of the organization will be formed and representatives to the Aksakal council will be elected during the session", concluded he.
