Eldaniz Quliyev: "Allergy hits Azerbaijani opposition, when unification is mentioned"

"The main problem of Azerbaijani opposition is that it is not able to overcome personal ambitions", said Eldeniz Quliyev, chairman of the Azerbaijan Intellectuals' Movement, commenting on differences between opposition parties on participation in the upcoming presidential elections.

He said no matter what the differences between authorities and opposition are, there are the same differences between opposition parties, as well.

"Opposition has divided into several parts and is hit with allergy when unification is mentioned. This paradoxical situation requires joint efforts.

I see the only way out of the situation in the unification and single participation of the opposition in the elections. Moreover, it is necessary to arrange a dialogue. If it happens it will be possible to speak of unity", said he.
