The OSCE monitoring, planned to be held on Armenian-Azerbaijani border, failed again.
11.07.0811:40Armenian Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan concerned with "breakdown of the second monitoring on the contact front line of the armed forces of the two countries by the Azerbaijani side".
Spokesman for the Armenian Defense Ministry, col. Seyran Shakhsuvaryan said the Minister voiced this concern during the meeting with personal representative of the OSCE chairman-in-office Andzhei Kaspshik.
As envoy Kaspshik intends to visit Baku soon, Ohanyan said mtual agreement to reduce the number of cases of ceasefire violation on the contact frontline of the two countries and return of missing Armenian people and Armenian hostages, held in Azerbaijan, had been attained during the meeting with Azerbaijani Defense Minister in Bishkek.
The sides also discussed a number of issues regarding regional security, as well as the settlement of the Karabakh problem, stressing importance of its peaceful resolution.
