Some 46 people were rescued, including the captain and his assistant. There were migrants from Iraq, Syria, Palestine, mostly women and children on the ship.
Law enforcement authorities arrested two Turkish citizens. They are suspected of organizing an illegal human trafficking, according to CNN Turk, citing a source in the Interior Ministry.
