Armenians send new handouts for Rasmussen

Former NATO Secretary General Anders Fogh Rasmussen continues to promote a pro-Armenian agenda in Europe, exposing his venality. This time, Rasmussen, a great friend of the Armenians, wrote an article in the German edition of Tagesspiegel, which was full of mutually exclusive arguments and causes irreparable harm to the interests of the European Union. As in previous conclusions, Rasmussen's main argument is that in the context of relations between Azerbaijan and Armenia, the Europeans need to side with Yerevan.

It is noteworthy that former NATO Secretary General Rasmussen is not an economist by profession for a minute. Nevertheless, this did not prevent him from launching into an analysis of the upcoming COP29 climate summit in Baku. Although it is unlikely that the hackneyed Armenian theses, which Rasmussen repeated in his article as mantras, can be regarded as a serious analysis.

Then the former NATO Secretary General decided to turn to the history of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict, but even here Rasmussen showed himself to be an ignorant person. Calling Karabakh "disputed" territory, the Dane confirmed that he had no idea about the South Caucasus. Indeed, at the time of the collapse of the Soviet Union, Karabakh was an integral part of Azerbaijan, as any high school student knows. It is obvious that Rasmussen either does not know what he is saying, or his mind has been overshadowed by the handouts of the Armenian lobby, for which he is trying so hard.

By continuing to read Rasmussen's article, you can make sure that he has problems not only with the story, but also with the events of a year ago. "Last year, Azerbaijan launched a new military offensive against the predominantly Armenian enclave. This led to a massive displacement of people: about 120,000 ethnic Armenians crossed the border and ended up in Armenia itself," Rasmussen writes. Apparently, the former NATO Secretary General does not respect Tagesspiegel readers at all, otherwise, he would not have been telling outright lies about the number of Armenians who left Karabakh. Even the Armenians themselves, inflating the numbers of those who left as much as possible, never claimed 120 thousand people. It seems that Rasmussen has read the statements of another pro-Armenian scoundrel, Josep Borrel, who even claimed 150,000 Armenians had left. Both Rasmussen and Borrel need enlightenment if the stage of ignorance has not yet turned into a chronic form.

Getting into a rage, Rasmussen continued to accuse Azerbaijan of all mortal sins. You see, "the negotiations did not lead to a significant breakthrough, because Azerbaijan did not fulfill its obligations, continuing to demand new concessions from the Armenian side," Rasmussen wrote. Rasmussen, of course, did not mention that it is the territorial claims to Azerbaijan, laid down in the current constitution of Armenia, that remain the only obstacle to further progress in the peace process between Baku and Yerevan. Because in some places they will stop paying.

In conclusion, the former NATO Secretary General sounds the alarm, saying "Azerbaijan will attack Armenia," simultaneously accusing Russia of being "unable or unwilling to help Armenia." And here Rasmussen openly throws dust in his eyes, as the process of militarization of Armenia continues at a rapid pace. It is the West, along with India, that is actively pumping offensive, lethal weapons into Armenia. For what purpose? Isn't it to start another war in the region? Is it not for this reason that Armenia still refuses to exclude territorial claims to Karabakh from its constitution?

But Rasmussen will keep quiet about it. Otherwise, the owners will get angry...
