In the first 10 months of 2024, Kazakhstan surpassed its annual transportation volume for milling products of the past 5 years, reaching 2.9 million tons. This marks an 11 percent increase compared to the same period last year, Azernews reports.

The main importers of Kazakh flour were Afghanistan (788,000 tons), Uzbekistan (454,000 tons), Tajikistan (57,000 tons), Turkmenistan (28,000 tons), and Kyrgyzstan (23,000 tons).

A particularly positive trend is observed in the Chinese market, where the transportation volume in the first 10 months exceeded 0.5 million tons, reflecting a 48 percent increase compared to last year.

To support transportation, a fleet of more than 15,000 covered wagons is used, fully meeting current demand.
