Xiaomi releases mini version of washing machine for underwear

Xiaomi has launched the Mijia Mini Washing Machine, a compact device capable of handling up to 1 kg of laundry, including smaller items like socks, Azernews reports.

The washing machine measures 452x328x461 mm and supports voice control and remote operation through the Mijia mobile app. It also features over-the-air firmware updates, ensuring that the device stays up to date.

Notably, the Mijia Mini Washing Machine is equipped with a direct-drive motor, allowing it to automatically detect the weight of the laundry and adjust the amount of detergent accordingly. This ensures efficient use of detergent and optimized washing performance.

The machine offers 20 different washing modes, including options for steam sterilization, stain removal, underwear washing, and a quick wash and dry cycle that takes just 45 minutes. There is also a 15-minute quick wash mode for when time is tight.

Mijia, a subsidiary of Xiaomi founded in 2015, specializes in the production of smart home devices controlled via the Mi Home app. The brand has expanded its range to include a variety of innovative products, from table lamps and toothbrushes to electric scooters, robot vacuum cleaners, headphones, smart glasses, and much more.

This release is part of Xiaomi's broader strategy to offer practical, space-saving smart home solutions that cater to modern lifestyles, combining convenience with cutting-edge technology.
