Swine flu killed 13-year-old Maryam Iobashvili girl in Tbilisi, the Georgian National Center for Disease Control told Trend News.
She applied to the hospital late and the aftereffects of illness were already incurable, the source said.
The doctors claim that the virus took place on the background of chronic hepatitis C and anemia, which complicated the treatment process.
The center said that this is the 8th swine flu death confirmed by laboratory. Presently, six swine flu patients are under treatment in the hospitals.
So far, Georgia has reported 966 swine flu cases.
